Title: (Vectorial) Plateaued Functions and Partial Geometric Difference Sets
Date/Time: Thursday, 15 March @ 13:40 pm
Place: FENS - L055
Abstract: (Vectorial) plateaued functions are important for applications in cryptography, coding theory and the related areas of finite fields and combinatorics. In this talk we will introduce (vectorial) plateaued and s-plateaued functions and partial geometric difference sets. We will present the relation between them. This relation enables us to give an alternative proof for the recent characterization of (vectorial) s-plateaued functions in the works of Carlet and Mesnager et al. We will also present possible applications of the relation.
